Raymond Carr is a Jim Henson Company trained, Puppeteer, filmmaker, theatrical director, and designer. Raymond is one of the main characters in the Henson's hit preschool show, Splash and Bubbles on PBS Kids, and is a member of Henson's Adult Improv troupe Puppet UP, as well as their new show Earth to Ned on Disney +. Some of Raymond's other puppeteering credits include: Comedy Central's Crank Yankers, Nick Jr's Lazytown, Walking with Dinosaurs: The Arena Spectacular Tour, various projects for Cartoon Network & Adult Swim, The Center for Puppetry Arts, The National Black Arts Festival, IFC, Ibex Puppetry, numerous commercials for companies like DropBox, MailChimp, and Aaron's Furniture. Raymond is also an award-winning independent filmmaker who’s work has been screened at Film Festivals in North America and Europe. His film Hitori produced by Heather Henson is currently being distributed by the Jim Henson Company.
Jon Carr is a writer, improviser, and theater administrator based in Atlanta, GA. He is the newly-minted Artistic Director of Dad’s Garage, a 250 seat comedy theater specializing in original scripted work and the best improv in the city for 25 years running. From this home base, Jon co-founded an international touring comedy team, Dark Side of The Room, that was recently honored with a placement in the Center for Civil and Human Rights museum for their contribution to the African American community. Jon is also an award-winning playwright with titles including The Wrath of Con (a love story set at a comic book convention) and Black Nerd, an auto-biographical comedy which was awarded Best New Play from Creative Loafing and Atlanta’s local Tony’s, the Suzi Bass Awards.
