Craig Plante, our eyes in to this world of teamwork and adventure, was a big city cop from California, a loudmouthed auctioneer on the side – the last person you’d expect to find a home in the wide, quiet expanse of the Midwest. But when Craig retired early from the force and moved to Wyoming with his wife, seeking a simpler life, he found an unlikely family and a unique purpose with the Search & Rescue team.

Their morale is sustained by an unshakeable sense of entitlement and their own shallow, undying friendship.
